Bought this cutting a month ago and have been waiting for the leaf to emerge from the stalk. I just saw this guy a few days ago and thought it was an aerial root. Now it’s looking like it could be a new leaf? Can anyone confirm either way?

    I recently had to chop all of my hosta’s leaves off after it arrived with a horrible case of anthracnose. After a few days, it started growing new leaves and at least 9 of these little “sprouts”. So far, only the starting leaves have grown, so I’d be curious to find out about yours myself. I don’t believe it’s an aerial root given that it has a developed root system below in my case, so I’m hoping mine will become leaves in time, and yours as well.
