I want to put coffee grounds in my dwarf Alberta spruces soil as a fertilizer, but my husband went and bought espresso coffee grounds is that a problem? 🤦♀️🥴

I don't know about the coffee grounds but how long have you had this indoors? It's usually a little rough keeping an evergreen indoors because they need the cool season and more light.
2 J'aimeWell I've had it since Christmas couldn't bring myself to buy a chopped down tree I wanted one I could keep forever, but I live in Indiana and on the warm days I put it outside but I think I scorched it s needles by sticking it in the direct sound immediately so that's why I'm thinking I really want to give it some coffee grounds, I do definitely plan on putting it outside now once it warms up more, I do have it in a Southern window for now
0 J'aimeI have an Alberta here in Iowa. It is on the Southside of the house. Seems to be doing fine but is growing very slowly.
0 J'aimeNope just put the grounds in water and dilute them
1 j'aimeThank you so much do you happen to know the ratio of water to coffee grounds
0 J'aimeHonestly make it just strong enough to be tea color. Less is more with fertilizer and additives I put a “puck” of used espresso in a gallon and mix the heck out of it. 🤗
0 J'aimeI would definitely bring her outside
1 j'aimeIt's been in the 30s n 40s during the day and in the 20s at night I just put it in a gallon bucket bc it's leaves started to get tight 😩🤦♀️ it's looking better I think the pot was too small .. are these temps ok? I love my little Christmas tree
