My euphorbia might be dying? I royally screwed this one up, it was turning yellow so I thought maybe too much water, so I watered it less. Then went away on a work trip for 3 days- of course heat wave came through so it was upper 90’s which is not usual where I live. I came back and it looks like the picture below- column is yellow almost until the top- it is very thin, a lot thinner than it was, but no mushy parts anywhere, I even took it out and checked the roots and bottom so rot or smell or anything off. The picture where it is green is what it looked like before. Is it a goner or will it come back? I’m so upset about this one, I got it when it maybe 2 inches.

    You can cut the tops to propagate. Cut the cactus where it is still green. Let the cut go hard or put cinnamon on it to stop rot. In a week after cutting, put the cut cactus tops into a cactus soil mix. Hopefully it will start to root.

    unfortunately yellowing is not a process that can be reversed, it's the chlorophyll dying. you have to propagate the green tops 💔 but because it's a mature plant the growth from the cuttings won't stall or be weird, it'll just continue as normal once it roots

      Thank you!! I will do that, so sad but at least it can maybe be saved
