I'm wanting to get an asparagus fern, but, before I do, I would like to know if it's normal for them to shed their leaves. My mom had one, and it always had needles all over the floor around it. Was this a care issue, or is this normal?

    I don't have one of those. But I would assume not. And it was probably a watering or humidity issue

    Idk which issue it is but yes mine did that all the time then new ones grow but mine eventually died and i never got another one.

    my asparagus fern has never shed. easy plant to care for, in my experience.

    Same here, mine does not shed. Get one! They are so fun to watch grow. And use a clear pot so you can see their root system.
