Hello! It’s getting chilly down here in South Carolina. Friday night is expected to get down around 50°F, and the overnight temperatures are going to keep dipping over the next few days. What plants should I be considering bringing inside from the ones I currently have outside? I think you can see the plants I have from my profile, so any advice would be greatly appreciated! 🌱🥶
I would bring them all inside personally.
0 likes I knew someone would say, “Bring them all in.” 😂 I’m so lazy, I have to wrap my brain around where I’m actually going to put them. I had to rearrange Furniture in my home to get really full dumb cane back in the house last fall. The first picture is the plant I started with. I split it in the spring and gave away more than a dozen very large pieces with roots. Some of the ones I kept are almost as big as they were when I split them. They’re pretty heavy, and I’m pretty lazy. 😅 I also threw a few random pieces of roots into some potting soil, fully expecting nothing to happen. Well…now they have fairly decent leaves growing in that bag. 😂 I haven’t even decided whether I’m going to put them in pots yet. I’m still trying to give more of them away!
Everything listed on your profile as being on your porch is a tropical, so they all need indoor temperatures to survive winter
