Hi Everyone, I’m new here 🤗 I’ve had a lot of plants on & off over the years but they were just “plants” to me then (Sorry 🥴) This past year though, I have really been Embracing them & the fact that they’re Addicting to me now 🌱🌵🥰 I’m more of a ‘yellow thumb’ but I want to eventually have a ‘green’ one. I do have a hard time knowing what plants I should invest in because I live in a townhouse and only have windows facing East & West, so there isn’t a lot of natural sunlight coming in 🥺 So if anyone can Help me out on my Plant Journey, I would sooo Appreciate it, I live in Michigan, not sure what zone 🤷‍♀️ Thank you in advance 🙏🏼🥰🌿

pothos are a good starter, and there are so many beautiful ones. i also say go with a golden pothos. you will always have some new growth at all times. i have a golden marble and i love her variegation but pothos n joy is a good variation. peace lily is also a good option. i would say go to a local plant store and just chat w the employees and just ask questions

Thank you Maya 🥰 I do have a pothos I think, she didn’t have a tag on her, I named her Gertrude, she was pitiful when I got her last fall on clearance 🤦‍♀️ I also took a clipping off & put it in water until roots formed, then I planted baby Gerti but something isn’t right looking in her soil. I’m gonna upload the pics

Thank you Maya 🥰 I think that I had them too close to the grow lightbulb, so I moved them further away, I’m pretty sure that’s what the brown spots are, do you know if that’s right

Michigan could be zones 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b, 6a, or 6b depending on where you live

It looks like I’m in the green, I’m in Dearborn, just outside of Detroit
