I wouldn’t spray it and I think it looks healthy. You probably saw a harmless fungus gnat. They are only annoying but not harmful to plants.

0 likesNeem oil I would just as a preventative so it doesn’t lay fungus eggs in your soil and have a team flying around
1 likeI tried neem oil on my desert rose and all the leaves fell off. Make sure to check dilution, mine was obviously too much.
0 likesive never seen a dumb cane but if im being honest it kinda looks like a dieffenbachia

it’s the common name for the dieffenbachia. more recently people have been asked not to use it due to its historical origin
1 likeDumb cane is the same name for a diffenbachia plant

0 likesI think you should get the yellow sticky traps to monitor any fungus gnat population. If the trap catches any, then treat your soil with a systemic pesticide or something for mosquitoes like mosquito dunks. Fungus gnats breed in the top inch or two of moist soil. Your dumb cane can handle a little dryness so make sure you're not overwatering.
