Hey there! Does anyone know any good indoor plants for my bedroom? It needs to be able to survive with little sunlight, as my window only lets in sun in the morning (I don’t want to use a grow light). Something that looks nice on my desk. I was thinking about a mini monstera, but I want something a little smaller. Any ideas or comments? TIA!

My baby rubber plant does well with low light and stays compact. I hear you on not wanting a grow light. I used to use them on all my plants but got tired of the harshness of the bright light.

cast iron plant or aspidistra elatior. they were very common in the victorian era as they're well adapted to low light and were often used in dark sitting rooms

My aspidistra, ZZ ant, snake ants and marantas all do fine in lower light. 😁

Calathea’s are difficult to care for but enjoy low light as they are on the forest floor in nature. Just have a humidifier with it and water with distilled water to avoid leaf crisping. If you do those steps it really is a fun plant to have!

The snake plant is considered one of the top plants for the bedroom. And they can thrive in either low light or bright light.

Ferns will do well. Ficus can tolerate almost anything. Certain orchids (anything that'd grow in the mid to low parts of the forest in the wild) can work (good examples: paphiopedilums and jewel orchids)
