Hi there! I have recently moved and my plant space has changed from north-facing with no direct sunlight, to east-facing with morning sunlight. My plants are still adjusting (and I am trying to read their signals as best I can). My wonderful pink nerve plant that was thriving and bushy, and had even flowered at the old location, now withers it seems every other day and has lost a lot of leaves on the bottom. Trying to group my plants to give it more shade and to pay closer attention to its watering needs; but seeing how top-heavy it is, I am thinking of cutting and repotting. Anyone with similar experience and any tips?

I keep my nerve plants in water, almost like a carnivorous plant. I keep the tray under it with about 1/2 inch of water at all times. So it can never dry out(they hate that). They also don’t really like real sunlight. They do great under my grow lights but not real sunlight. Don’t know if any of that helps. So my suggestion is…. More water less sun. Also if that’s a terracotta pot, would switch that out too, sucks out too much moisture.

Eastern exposure is a lot more light. If your plants are upset at the move, you could (a) move them a few feet away from the window; (b) get a sheer curtain to block some of the light; (c) keep the blinds closed for part of the day, hopefully one of those works! It could also be they just need time to adjust to the light and will be fine in a few months.
