Can anyone tell me how I can fix it and the best way to get it to grow? Not sure what type of plant is it I got it from my sister

This is a juvenile monstera deliciosa. It’s leaning because it would like a stake or a moss pole to help it grow. They naturally grow up trees and cling onto the trunk. Planta has great care tips for watering - yellow leaves usually mean thirsty or drowning!
4 J'aimeThank you so much do you recommend repotting it to a bigger pot and with a moss pole ?
0 J'aimeI at least would recommend putting a moss pole so that it’s easier when it’s growing up to cling to it, instead of having to train it when it’s matured.
2 J'aimeLooks like a monstera deliciosa. They might oftentimes hang out of the pot, but in this case, you might want to get a moss pole and start to train your Monstera to cling to it, so it doesn’t hang out/has less of a chance to hang out of the pot. I would also reccomend putting your monstera in a place where it can grow taller, and not underneath a shelf, which would impact its growth. And make sure not to clip those brown stems/roots or try to put them back in the pot. Those are air roots, and if you clip them, the plant’s health might kinda go down (like the stock market in America rn, lol). Hope this helps!!!!
2 J'aimeI’ve seen people use moss poles for that place (monstera deliciosa I believe!) but I’ve also seen people tie the stem gently to wooden poles as well

Agreed. Also, if you have a regular repotting schedule (and I mean regular, not when the roots require it) you may get away with not needing to fertilize. Most pre-bought potting mixes have slow release fertilizers already mixed.
