A friend propagated one of her plants and gave me a section. I planted it and, this inch plant has grown over a foot since. No new shoots have sprouted though? Should I propagate again? And what is the best course of action to do so? I have never had one of these kinds of plants before and I am not sure what to do?

They need to age before they split. That’s why they are sold with several plants in a pot like pothos. You can take cuttings off it as it grows. Then, place several in a pot to get a full pot early.

They need transition from propping to planting. They are usually focused on root growth, not foliage. After that, it could be a nutrients or lighting issue.
