Just bought this snake plant and was wondering why it was cut in half? Also should it have indirect sunlight or is this fine?

    They propagated it. It looks like they didn’t seal it, it’s rotting. You can recur it into a point and dab cinnamon on it to seal it up so no pathogens get in.

    I loved her it could have been shipping damage. Sometimes the sanseveria comes in broken off so they just cut the broken stuff.
