I was away for a few months. My friend repotted my agave and it looks pretty bad. Any suggestions on saving it?

Are the roots not covered? I can’t tell for sure when I zoom in. Has it been watered since it’s been repotted?

The are covered but could probably use a better pot. Yes it’s been watered with no difference.

Ok best I can think is it just needs time to recover from the repotting

I agree the plant just needs time. My mangave also went through transplant shock. The leaves curled and went limp, but the new growth was very healthy a few weeks later.

I see roots as well. It looks like it’s too low in the pot as well and needs more soil. It looks like it’s in sand? I would also give it less sun until it recovers.
