I’m in a leased condo. This is in my front yard. I’ve named the pygmy date palm Hefty. Hefty is probably 30-50 years old & obviously it is a well established tree 🌴. Once I added him here on Planta, I got a warning that he is placed in too sunny a location. I can’t exactly move him. How do I silence this warning?

If the plant isn’t dead and has been there several years then its absolutely fine where it is

Yes, I figured that. What I would like to know is if there is any way to turn off the warning?

Oh sorry I didn’t register that last part of your message 😂 When you add the plant and choose the location pick the light that the plant is “suppose” to have instead of where it actually is. So change it from full sun to part sun Will trick the app into thinking it’s in the right place

i wouldn't change the plants environment in the app. light levels affect care needs. there is no way to completely remove the notifications. just ignore them. you can adjust the locations light levels if it really bothers you
