HELP! I bought her a week or two ago and repotted her in a smaller pot. (not the one in the picture. Did a smaller terracotta.) Picture of roots was day of repotting from nursery pot and then I watered her with “purived house plant food” And cleaned her leafs with “big leaf energy” and she started falling apart a couple days later. What do I do?
these do notttt like change — location, roots, temperature, light — too many changes at once I’m betting

I think it may be a lighting issue. 2nd picture the better option for lighting? I just don’t wanna burn the leafs but I mean they are falling off anyway.

The big concern for burning is the temp; you wanna choose whatever gets her closest to the light without physical contact, and put your hand in the closest spot for a few seconds to make sure it doesn’t feel excessively warm. Hard to tell but looks like you’ve got LEDs that are often designed fairly well to stay cool.
2개 좋아요 You could also consider getting one of the clip on style grow lights and attaching it to one of the shelves so it’s shining downward.

This just happened to me when I repotted mine 😭 but mine is already growing two new leaves! There’s definitely hope that they can grow back, I’d just be patient 🙏

좋아요 1개Over the span of a few days it dropped most of its leaves besides the ones closest to the top, yours looks like it had more leaves than mine so hopefully it stops soon!!

좋아요 1개 Just keep things as stable as possible and avoid commission bias; people end up killing these plants by trying to do too many things to “save” them. She’ll grow new leaves if she gets good light, and once she’s more stable you can try notching or hormones to encourage new growth lower down

Agree with what has already been said. She’s doing her best lol Just needs some time and I’m sure she’ll put out new growth soon. If you’ve got the skrilla, I hear Soltech lights are the best.
