I’ve had my plants in front of a big window all on my kitchen table and I finally put them on a little stand will they be okay with the less light until I can find a different stand or get some lights? Also this is my first year with plants does anyone have car recommendations for the following 1. Monstera 2. Snake plant 3. Ppp ( has pushed two new leaves since coming home and being repotted!) 4. Philodendron brasil 5.Hoya hybrid 6. Variegated heartleaf philodendron

I would say get a light this weekend or you may wind up with leggy growth. I had the same issue with everything being in my kitchen window but not being able to use the dining space now that I have bench seating under the window. I’ve since moved them to a shelf far from the windows but I realized I had an LED light in the closet and after reading the specs I learned that when I blast it at the highest settings, the specs mimic a very weak/basic plant light suitable for low light houseplants at 2,700K to 5,600k. The plants have been here for about two weeks now and are showing new growth and leaning towards the light so I think it’s working.

Monstera I would separate and repot. Snake plant, don’t be afraid to chop and prop. I have no experience with a ppp but I’m happy for you. Philodendron brasil, follow Planta’s instructions and fertilize per schedule. Mine thrived but I ended up not liking the plant even though it was super healthy so I gave it away. I’m not a Hoya person. Heart leaf philo, love mine, follow plants advice and also I learned that if you stake it, it grows happier up than trailing down.

Your plants look beautiful! 🌿💚 They should be okay for a little while, but I’d try to move them back closer to the window or add a grow light when you can. The Monstera, PPP, Philodendrons, and Hoya will appreciate bright indirect light. The snake plant is the most forgiving and can tolerate lower light. 😊 Enjoy your plant journey—it’s so rewarding! 🌱

I wouldn’t leave them too far from the light for too long otherwise they’ll either start to grow leggy or they’ll start looking kinda sad, but a few days shouldn’t hurt. I can’t exactly say I give all my plants the best light either, but my issue is I don’t have the ability to bring the plants closer to the ceiling without turning the ceiling into hanging planters. Your plants all look good and healthy so you’re taking great care so far. My recommendation since you’re really killin it with these is to get soil mix ingredients for when you repot instead of using a basic mix. Then you can tailor your mix to each plants needs

My issue right now is I have floor vents instead of overhead vents for my central air and it makes the plants way too cold when I have them right in front of the window because the vent is right there as well

I get that, I can’t put any plants in my dining room living room or kitchen because of all the ac vents blowing hard across those areas

Yes so I’ve had these on my kitchen table slowly collecting over past two months started with the monstera I got it for $12 ! But now there is 6 of them and my husband wants them moved !! I put them on the cute shelf and I just figured I can slide it in front of my back door to get light then slide it back
