It’s probably ready to be separated now, but you can also wait until it gets a bit bigger to pluck it from the mother.

NikillerYeah it’s just a pup from the mother plant. The general rule of thumb for airplant pups is to remove them when they’re 30% the size of the adult plant. Typically an airplant will create a few pups then die off
