My Zebra plant overall is doing well and recently grew 2 new leaves. However, it also lost the leaves on the stem....will new leaves grow from those nodal points or will she just be a mini tree?

The leafy AngelYou might want to get something call keiki past, it help bald plants grow new leaves, I used it on my umbrella and it takes awhile but it works!

SunnyThe keiki cloning paste Ash Angel suggested will work to fix the symptom by triggering the plant to grow new leaves. The cause of dropped leaves is usually too low light. Move your a brighter location or add a grow light. 🪴🍀

I am in the process of rearranging my plants so that the ones that are struggling have a better chance. Unfortunately my house is very low light and budget doesn't allow for new lights right now. I am hoping I can find a better place for her....She is a cutie. Thanks!

My lowest cost set up is using an inexpensive shop light that clips on with a good grow light bulb. I got both at a big box store. These plants were in a north window with slow growth. Several have started growing again.
