🙏 Needing a little guidance and help with my Swiss cheese monstera Vine.. should I repot her in a plastic pot with more holes or is she fine in this pot? There is more growth since I have put her in this pot a little over 3 to 6 months ago... she does have a grow light and a humidifier.. and I do have a moss pole on the way for support .....please anything helps she's too beautiful to lose....!!

I would increase her feeding schedule and give her a better support system other than that it looks like she is in a good aerated soil.🫶🏾🪴

I hope so I did a little bit of research before actually going full force into the monstera family... I use a chunky soil containing Orchard mix, perlite and regular potting soil... I'm just wondering how does anyone know if their plant is happy or root Bound in their pot? Because they do like to be root bound but I don't know if this plant is root bound or if it likes the pot?!

I have repotted and used more chunky soil instead of just regular gardening soil and perlite.. I added Orchard makes to it as well this container has more holes at the bottom unlike the ceramic pot.. should I feed it after I've repotted it with new soil?

Keep in mind these plants like to be somewhat root bound

Just don’t overwater all that soil.

It shouldn’t have too much space from the stems to the edge maybe like 2 -2.5 in at most. When it’s dry you can pull up the plant gently to check its roots.

I went ahead and repotted it.. I don't think it had the right soil. I repotted it in a plastic 8 inch pot with Orchard mix, perlite and regular potting soil ... before it only had regular potting soil and perlite... and this plastic bucket has more holes at the bottom than the other ceramic.. I'm hoping this one is better for it and helps it breathe that way the soil doesn't bog it down
