I am in need of some advice my pothos friends!! ◉ ∧ ◉” I’ve noticed a worrying trend with my pothos. Any new leafs growing in are black and look dead! I’m not sure what I’m doing that’s causing this so any advice or care tips would really help!

Oh no, that’s heartbreaking to see! Blackening on new leaves can sometimes point to root rot or cold stress—maybe double check the soil moisture and how cold the area gets at night? Sending good vibes to your pothos—hoping it perks back up soon!

I’m not an expert but have don’t pretty well with pothos so far. I’m wondering how long that vine is. Could you cut off 1-2 nodes prior to where the sick leaves have been sprouting?

Some of them are happening on propagations that have 1-2 nodes!

It’s hard to tell without seeing all of the plant. Some things that can cause it is inconsistent watering where the tender new leaves are affected the most. Low humidity can cause it and other leaves can have dry areas. Root bound conditions can cause it on several leaves.

I’m Canadian and it does get quite cold at night still, perhaps if I moved them into a warmer room and used a grow light they might improve?
