It’s back to life! I’m beyond stoked about this new leaf and new shoot. This plant was almost dead when I was given it. I’m still working on growing her roots strong and big before planting her in soil. Is this a Thai Con or an Albo?

It looks almost like a philodendron not a monstera due to those aerial roots
1 likeWhen it comes time, what kind of soil should I plant it in. It’s been so long growing this baby back!!
0 likesIt doesn’t seem to have water roots (the aerial roots (growing off the stem) are the ones the plant had before you put it in water) yet so it may take a while before you can plant it in soil. But when you can I would plant it in a chunky tropical plant mix
1 like(I looked at your plant more lol) It definitely is a white princess philodendron, you see that little green thing by the white leaf well that is something that (mostly) only philodendrons produce.
1 likeThank you! I appreciate your comments so much!! I’m trying to learn more. But it’s a lot to remember and I have not been listening to planta advice because it’s killed so many of my plants!
0 likesI’m really sorry about your experience with planta. But I can assure you that once it grows strong secondary water roots you can pot it up or even just keep growing it in water! I’ve successfully grown a ton of my plants in water because putting them in soil is much to risky.
