Hey! Plant Problems!! 1, what is this on my topsy tuevy echevier? 2, are these two plants the same? 3, are my nerve plants leaves supposed to be kinda crunchy?

I can answer your first two questions. The echeveria looks to be making its own offspring. You can leave it be to make it a fuller plant over time, or wait until it’s more developed and snip it off, then dip the ends in rooting powder and pot it on its own to becomes its own plant. It also looks like it might be working some flowers, so congrats! They’ll naturally die off in their own, so just enjoy them while you have them. To answer your second question, no, they’re not the same. The top one you circled is a sedum adolphi. The second looks more like some other type of succulent. If you can take a clearer picture of the second plant, that might help others narrow it down for you. Hope this helps.

Adrian those look like flowers to me. Usually topsy turvy puts out props on the bottom and sides. I may be wrong cause you give out good information.

No I agree, Phil. I wasn’t sure what exactly she was pointing at. There’s clearly some flowers in the works. 😊

    1. It looks like it’s going to flower soon! How exciting 3. Nerve plant leaves are not supposed to be crunchy

What should I do about the leaves?

They honestly look okay to me in the photo. Are you watering enough?

Nerve plant leaves shouldn't crunch, but they do have a bit of a unique papery texture that might be what you're describing

The small thing is a propagation (baby succulent ) when it gets this big chop it off

Nerve plant leaves get that way when humidity is not up to their standards. It doesn’t seem to harm the plant though.

How do I help the humidity?

Humidifier. Not some tini tiny one but a room size humidifier. Should hold at least a liter. Get a humidistat to measure the humidity. They are super cheap. The humidifier is not much but I found good deals in Amazon overstock. Depending on where you live, I’m in the eastern US. AC is running which removes humidity. So right now for me, adding humidity would not work. I add during winter. You can also try a pebble tray filled with water under the plant.
