Can begonias be successfully transferred into PON? Actually, is there anything that cannot be transferred into PON? TIA!

Hi there, they can be transferred into LECA so I’m sure pon will work too. The cane begonias in particular are very easy to transfer and don’t generally struggle much. My Rex escargot suffered a bit but eventually started to grow. They just need more tending to and ensuring the reservoir is always topped up. I find all my begonias are more thirsty than other plants, even more so than peace lilies!
いいね 1件Yaaaaay! You’ve made my day! Once I transfer them, I can go on vacation, and not worry they’ll die of thirst, so TXS for your very helpful post!
いいね 1件I am new to begonias, so can you tell me the difference between a cane begonia and maybe a Rex begonia? I do have a Rex begonia, so I’m familiar with that variety. TIA!
0件のいいねRex begonias are the ones that grow in clumps and tend to have fuzzy leaves. Cane begonias grow tall and tend to have smooth leaves that grow from long stems. They are very vertical and eventually their branches splay out to the sides as they get heavier and more mature.
いいね 1件How long are you going on vacation for? Just curious as I tend to refill the reservoirs every 7 days if I REALLY stretch it
