Mushroom help? Overnight a mushroom has appeared in my Boston Fern. Does anyone know what this means, what kind of mushroom it is, what I should do? It has been ridiculously humid this month where I live due to a massive heat wave. Thank you!!
You can just pick it out. Just means you have good healthy thriving soil!

That is soooo cool looking! I don't believe it would do any harm. I would just leave it there and enjoy it while it lasts 😜

Sign of healthy soil, helpful mycelium (the underground fungus that grew the mushroom and supports root health), and moist conditions that ferns especially love! Lucky!
