Need some guidance… just acquired this stripped dracaena, rubber plant, and moth orchid. I’ve had the Bonsai over a year now. I need advice on repotting them with pots with drainage and any other tip will highly take into consideration! 😊 I got the water scheduling down.. and tips on fertilizers is needed. Have a wonderful day !

I can try to help with the ficus elastica 🖐️ Just repotted one 2 days ago. I didn’t completely reduce it to its roots cause the soil was in good shape (I bought it from a really nice nursery for $7), so I added Espoma’s All-Purpose Soil mix with about 20-25% of their Cactus and Succulent Mix to add more perlite and drainage, like wood chips. I’ve also heard great things about FoxFarm’s Ocean Forest soil as a base soil, but I use Espoma almost exclusively. I’ve been told ficus elastica enjoys becoming a little rootbound, and though it said part sun, part shade, I’ve found mine seem to really like the south windowsill, but it didn’t have problems with being in a north windowsill either. I’ve found the biggest thing is making sure that when you repot it, you’re placing the soil under and around the root ball, then enough soil at the top to support the thin base stem of the plant, otherwise it can get a little crooked. Adding a stake like a bamboo skewer while you work to get the root ball and plant centered as you go has helped me. Hope this helps! They’re all really beautiful plants!
