What does it mean when my silver inch purple leaves start fading? I got this cutting about a month ago and it’s definitely growing- but some of the older leaves have lost their purple coloring. It’s about 3 feet from a west facing window and I water pretty frequently to keep it moist. Planta tells me to water daily but I’ve been doing ever other day or every 3 days. Thanks!

Not enough light can make there colors change

I’ve also read that too much light can do it. It was in the windowsill and I moved it back a couple of feet to see 🤷🏻‍♀️

I keep mine outside in the summer and they get indirect sun and the color always get super vibrant and then when I bring them in for the winter the fade. My purple Heart one will go almost completely green inside. I would Google it cause I've never heard that to much light would fade them. I do know that the sun will burn them maybe that's what they meant. I'm not sure.

Repot that immediately into a bigger pot

I would say repot and try a bit more light 🤗!

Low light and insufficient fertilizer can make them look pale. I agree a repot will help overall since a plant that size is usually is a 4” wide pot.
