Can anyone help me understand what I need to do with my Christmas tree? I entered it as a potted blue spruce, stored indoors, and it says to water it every 14 days. But if I enter it as a Christmas tree, potted and stored indoors, it says i need to water every 2 days. That's a vast difference. Any clue why it's so different and what I should actually be doing? I don't want it to dry out, but also don't want to rot the roots...

It sounds like the difference between a cut tree vs a live tree honestly. The ever 2 days being a cut tree

But it's entered as a potted Christmas tree in soil, not a cut tree in water

🤷🏽‍♀️ theres no plant i can fathom that you'd water every two days. Id only do that with a cut tree. Maybe it's just a glitch

I just went and looked, the Christmas tree- mixed varieties looks like cut tree, I get it says soil, but it's parameters look like for cut. If it had been entered as a hydro, and not soil, it would have increased the watering time. Which wouldn't help keep it hydrated

It makes me not sure if I should trust the every 2 weeks thing either. It's Dry in my house in the winter. Is it safe to water if the dirt feels dry in the top inch or 2? (This app also tells me I need to bring my 20 for maple tree inside for the winter, but they're native here...)
