Ezzeldin YaqoubIt is deciduous so it is entering its Fall colours in preparation for winter and will grow new green leaves in spring. So this is normal.

You are correct my friend. I fed it heavy for about a month before it dropped so that it will hopefully have the nutrients it needs to explode in spring. 🤞🏼

It is also has another name and that’s living fossil due to it’s species being tens of millions of years old.

Here is one of my favorites. It’s a ficus and I think I am partial to this one because it was my first tree.

SunnyI love a ginkgo leaf shape. 😍I have brass bookmarks cut like ginkgo leaves because the tree can’t grow outside in my area. I did not know they sold bonsais of ginkgo trees. Thanks for sharing.

If you have years to dedicate to it almost any tree can become a bonsai. Within reason lol. I have many, some big some small. Deciduous trees and conifers. But everything grows nicely down here in my state.
