I would split them up. Whatever you do i think should be fine.

0 LikesThey look like Callisia Fragrans plants. It’s not time to repot to a 6” pot since the roots are small. You can separate into 4 inch pots or smaller diameter. They grow fast from my experience. They typically put out dangling baby plants the first growing season. I stick those back into the same pot. They act like ground covers when placed in a garden bed. Mine are in a large 18” pot.
1 LikeAwesome so I just stick both of them in a 6 inch pot together or should I do 2 4 inch pots?
1 LikeIt’s up the you on how you want to grow them; grow in one pot or separate into two pots. I started with them separately and they looked like the September 2023 photo above, lonely and lanky with the octopus like appendages hanging over the pot. So, I put all of them into an extra large pot that already had several plants in it to use up excess water. So, I didn’t worry about root rot. I liked the look of them bunched together and they liked being outside in full sunlight with extra room for deep root growth. They all bloomed at the end of fall. I would not go to a 6” pot until the roots start to take over the soil. Repotting now to a bigger pot could lead to root rot.
