Why do the roots keep coming up?? It’s healthy and growing! Should I add more soil to cover where the plant base is?

    Don’t add soil. This is common behavior of a monstera. They put out aerial roots to tap into water or provide structural support to help the plant climb to get more light. The root node is slightly above the soil. So, it looks like the roots are growing upwards. The leaves look healthy. I would not worry.

    The above comment is great information. I would also recommend adding a moss or coco pole for more support just be cautious of those roots so you don’t damage them

    I’ve also heard that you can stick a small bowl of water there for those roots to go into just like they would In the wild
