Does anything else think Planta suggests watering plants way too often? Also apologies if this has been discussed to death before. I signed up for Planta about a year ago because I wanted to get into taking care of houseplants but didn’t feel comfortable and confident so the auto watering schedule was a huge selling point. I now have almost 40 thriving plants! Overall it’s been wonderful and it was Planta that gave me the confidence. But recently I’ve noticed that most of the plants that it tells me to water still have very moist soil when read with a soil moisture meter (I mostly bottom water my plants to avoid gnats). I input all the information into the app, the distance from the window, pot size, growing medium, everything. Anyways, now when it tells me to water I’ll take a moisture reading and if it’s still moist I’ll skip until next time. Sometimes I’ll skip multiple times in a row and all those plants are still doing fine great which suggests that Planta is telling me to water way too frequently. Anyone else noticing this?
