   If it’s new soil, it could be because it’s staying wet for too long. I would just rub it around with your fingers to disperse it, then let the top 2” dry out before watering again.

   At that stage it could be several things, but it looks like a mild case of mold. Scrape off the top layer of soil, aerate the soil (just kinda disturb and fluff it to get air in there), and improve surrounding air flow. You can also water slightly less often

   Could also be fertilizer crusting up if you over fertilize.

     Seconded. I say fertilizer or hard tap water (or a combination of both). If these plants appear to start to suffer, you can flush or soak the pot briefly to try to wash it away. Otherwise, if the plants are fine, it’s just a cosmetic issue and it’s your choice whether to do anything about it. Light-colored top dressings can make these deposits less visible to the naked eye.
