What’s happening to my Monstera??? It turned black overnight!! Received new furniture yesterday … did it freeze in this Canadian winter while the door was open for a few minutes?

She was about 7 feet from the door for only a few minutes. Guess I’ll monitor it for a few days and see if it gets worse 😬

Yea, if you're saying it was one day fine and one day not. That's pretty extensive, pretty quickly, for a pest problem.

If its freeze damage like it looks like, the leaf is only going to deteriorate though. There's no coming back from burst cells. So they should be removed, so the plants not putting energy into them.

It’s a very small plant and all the leaves are like that so maybe I’m outta luck on this one 😔

If it was just a crazy draft, the roots and nodes should hopefully be fine. They shiuld have been insulated in the dirt
