What do you do with all the food from your garden? Fresh-leaf tea and mint juleps will be made, but as far as the basil goes it will likely be dried or made into pesto because wow that's a lot of basil. That's okay, one Christmas all the gifts to my family were just bags of jalapeños. Nobody needs as many jalapeños as I got off that plant. I loved him, though he unfortunately got knocked down by a hurricane.

I like to make pesto with my basil and then freeze it in an ice cube tray so then you can have fresh pesto whenever ya want 😜

Your jalapeño pant makes me think of my Mom’s “warning” to always lock your car doors from August to September. Or you will come back to 6 zucchini in the passenger seat. Apparently zucchini plants are the jalapeño plants of New England. 🤣

I had a decorator helping with renovating our house. I sent her with a massive cutting of basil. Twice 🤣
