I forgot to mark my plants as “watered” on this app for a month.. 🥲 I went on vacation & had someone caring for all of the plants I have logged. I didn’t update any of the care information on the app, so now the app thinks all of my plants are in a drought & haven’t been watered in ~30 days… I was thinking of just marking them all complete, but I feel like that would just mess up the care schedule (since again it thinks they haven’t been watered this whole time). I don’t want the app prompting me to overwater them, but I also can’t fathom going into each plant and marketing each day watered in the history… SURELY someone here has been through something similar..? Maybe? Should I just add all of my plants in their current state as new plants? And say RIP to their history? Any advice would be greatly appreciated 🥹 thank you plant fam!!

    You can mark them as complete when you next water them, then for a short time, just double check every time Planta says they need water that the soil is actually dry. It’s a bit of a pain, but the schedule will adjust eventually!

    If your plants are showing the watering is 30 days (or whatever) late, marking them now as “watered” will not affect or adjust the watering schedule. At least from my observations. The only adjustments that will change your schedule are “snoozing” and watering early.

      Awesome. I “skipped” the overdue tasks, since apparently that doesn’t affect the cycle either. But that’s good to know. Thanks Phil!

    Since you are a premium user you can set a plant sitter in settings for next time you are away. It gives them access to your planta but does not allow them to make any changes. But they can mark things as watered etc.

    You can also edit the date of a task. Mark it as watered and then tap the completed task and change the date. Id just skip the task and mark it at next water if its 30 days. The app will just pick back up on the normal schedule or the custom you have set
