It depends on what kind of windows you have. But i put them as close to the windows as i can. I also have alot of growlights. I clean and look over all my plants that are outside before i bring them in to make sure I'm not bringing any pests inside. If in doubt then i spray them with insecticide or neen oil and put them somewhere that aren't close to my other indoor plants just incase. A few weeks is good as long as you're keeping an eye out for bugs.
1 LikeSounds like you got the easy plants that should be easy to take care of and not discourage you from plant life. I recommend fear a newbie getting indoor plants that are easy to take care of, and that aren’t so picky.
0 LikesDepends on your setup. My houseplants are indoor only with grow lights, so 'winterizing' them is as easy as shortening the light cycle and watering less frequently.
