hi ! so this is my first time posting and even though i’ve had plants on and off for 10 years now, i’m still a beginner. can i repot my baby and somehow lay the leggy stem on the soil for the nodes to hopefully grow roots?? if this won’t work please let me know!

Yep that will work! It’ll grow new roots from the stem if you lay it on top of the soil. If it won’t stay in place, you can take a bobby pin, stretch it out so it’s not too narrow, and use that to pin the stem onto the soil.

I’ve also used the bobby pin method for my polka dot plant , and I never thought to do it with this plant as well! I have the same one in my bathroom with a long leggy vine . Will be doing this asap! lol

I’m gonna try this with MY polka dot plant! She’s leggy and those green leaves have fallen off so now it’s bare in the middle. Lol. U can definitely tell that I moved it to more light a few months ago.

You can also put it in a slightly bigger pot and put the stem below surface level and cover it with soil. this way it’s hidden and should root too!
