Hi, it’s me again. I’m trying to figure out the proper placement for the grow light for this Boston fern. Also I’ve read different articles about how often the light should be on & I’m still not sure cuz one said 6-8 hours and a few said 8-12 hours. So can someone please tell me if the light is placed properly or not and how much light it needs? It’ll be greatly appreciated.

Is it a thrive light? It’s pretty big, so maybe do 8 hours and if it seems not as healthy & green, up it to 12. Just now, after over a year found the timer switch on my grow lights. I have Thrive and Sansi. Both have there drawbacks to me. If the thrive big one you show is fully extended, it falls over in the plant pot. The sansi’s clips are not that stable to attach to my planters. But I use both and have Jeri-rigged them to work. When I Ieave the wall switch on that controls the plugs all along my planters walls. They turn on and off by themselves. I had an electrician come in and put plugs under each plant. There are two plants that are on the far right you can’t see. One I removed due to fungal infection and haven’t replaced it yet. It’ll be an easy care plant I can tell you that. Not shown are four snake plants, 2 ZZ plants, a dracena marginitis, and a large fig tree, large monstera plant, 2 yuccas, a money tree about 5’ tall and an aloe plant.
