    Since you have a few tropical plants I wouldn’t recommend leaving them outside if it’s staying below 50F consistently. The rubber tree you’ll just need to cut a 2-4 leaf cutting (below a node) and let it sit for a few hours. Then stick it in water and wait for a long while (in my experience they take for ever to root). If you have sensitive skin or a latex allergy wear gloves!

    They make covers for plants and pots. But they're mostly only useful for already cold hardy plants.
