Question: I have an alocasia that grew magnificently, bloomed, then died, but it grew a new plantlet. Should I say the plant died and enter the plantlet as a brand new plant? I think my schedule is still based on a full plant. I’ve attached what it looks like today. Thanks in advance!

    Hmmm good question. I wouldn’t change it if the roots are still from the original plants. How do I think the plant died? Could it have been a lack of water?

      It actually had gnats because I overwatered, which is what lead me to this app. When I was treating it, two blooms sprouted and the gnats went away. The leaves all started to wither at that point. When the blooms died the stalk had one last sad leaf but the whole thing broke off when I touched it. The little plantlet was already poking out by then!

    Hey! I’d say your plant died and enter a new plantlet. Baby plants and adult plants need different requirements so if you’re not sure what the plantlet needs, I’d change it via the app x
