Does anyone have any tips to keep a black bat flower happy? My previous one died and I purchased a new one yesterday. I feel like I pulled out all the stops on my first, but to no avail. Any tips would be GREATLY appreciated 🖤

Bat flowers are so cool! These plants are quite temperamental. They prefer warm moist environments. They like a very rich soil so the soil should contain a good amount of organic matter both to provide nutrients and consistent moisture in the soil as well as good drainage. If you make your own it would look something like 50% soil 40% organic matter and 10% perlite. They do not like to go dry and they are moderate to heavy feeders especially when they're producing a bloom. Orchid fertilizer works well or an all-purpose slow release formula. Cold is your enemy they love temperatures between 70 and 80°. Bright indirect light, a humidifier would probably be good, good air circulation, and they don't like to be too crowded in the pot. Repot annually is what my source recommends.
