   hi elmer ! i have a chinese elm bonsai as well and i learned that they drop a large quantity of leaves when they first move in. after that, as long as youre watering on schedule and giving it enough light itll bounce back with new leaves ! 🤗 oh and also not moving it around really, they like to stay in the same spot 😅

     I will basically rotate Elmer in the same spot. Letting the light hit different angles…he is responding nicely!
