0 Mi piaceJust make sure your fern is frequently watered. I have a large one, and I water it every four or five days. Before I will water, the plant will still feel heavy when I pick it up, and the soil still feels damp, but a water meter well help show you when sheās just moist, not wet, and needs to be watered. So beware⦠keep your fern well watered and it will stay happy and beautiful! PS. Iāve had this fern for a couple years,. Sheās doing quite well, as you can see⦠š¤©!
2 Mi piacePeace lily and fern lots of humidity and water! I only water my peace lily and my spider plants with distilled or rain water. They do not like my tap. I converted my peace lily to hydroponic and itās the best thing Iāve ever doneā¦
2 Mi piaceCan you tell me a bit more about using a hydroponic medium for plants? I havenāt used this method before, but Iām seriously considering experimenting with one plant⦠just to see how it goes. TIA!
0 Mi piaceI know this is asking a lot, but what can you tell me about hydroponic watering? Any particular YouTube videos you think are especially good regarding the subject? TIA!
0 Mi piaceWhich plant species do you have the best luck with this hydroponic watering method? TIA!
0 Mi piaceI havenāt watched much yt about it but my process is basically rinse off all the potting medium off the roots. Make sure the roots donāt have any mushiness bc the water will make it worse. I just plop them in a vase and fill it up to cover all the roots will trying to keep the plant itself above the water line (they sell specific pots and things to keep your plant in the right spot) I usually have a decent adjustment period and lose a few roots at the beginning. Water roots will start emerging. You may lose some leaves too.
0 Mi piaceMist the fern!!! Daily. The make-up continuous misters are great.
2 Mi piaceI don't know why it corrected to cactus lol
