    Yeah, I think so. I pruned mine when it got like that and then propagated a new plant with the cuttings!

    I agree with the comment above and maybe once its established roots, you can plant it into the pot if you are wanting a bushier look

    If you prefer to let it get tall, you can put some big rocks in the bottom of the pot as counterweights the next time you repot. You can also tie the plant into its pot through the drainage holes with wire like a bonsai, if it's something that might fall out/uproot itself from the weight

    My Rubber Plant finally started to spread out, it has a stout peg in the rear holding up a heavy, long stalk in the back its about 20” tall and 2’ wide! This was its first flowering in three years
