Yay! Patience patience patience is key, also don’t fret about changing the water religiously. I only do if it starts to get really murky, make sure they’re getting substantial light, if you want to you can fertilize with a fertilizer that works well with hydroponics. And just look at the leaves that you have on your cuttings now as sacrificial, you will lose them eventually because they are going to be the ones working to give you the roots and new plants you want. Lastly, don’t pot them up in soil until you have a nice substantial root system that has secondary roots, once your roots have roots then you can pot it up!

How long does this process typically take?

My most recent pothos cutting took about a month and a half to grow secondary roots, but it was on the struggle bus already since it was from a plant that was struggling from root rot when I got it

It varies…I have had some that took 2 weeks and others 2 months or so.
