I bought a spider plant from Lowe’s yesterday and want to repot it! I have never seen so many babies!!! Do you suggest thinning these out from the mother and repotting them? These babies are growing roots like crazy!!

laura 🩷🪴I would totally propagate some of them!! I always leave a couple growing because I like the way they look 🥰 I propagate mine in water and they usually root pretty quickly! Then I transfer to soil.

MosstachioYou can tie the vines together like a ponytail above the mother plant if you have a bigger plant or not hanging. Makes propagating the babies easier, since that makes them up off the ground

This is what the plant looked like. Thankfully I was able to save it when I did!! I got 4 different plants out of this. I almost couldn’t get it out of the pot it was so bad.
