Humidity being too low can cause leaves to crack or split. Most of the plant looks great especially since it’s blooming. 😍 Only the two yellow edged leaves could indicate other issues or just older leaves dying off. It’s hard to tell.
1 me gustaYou’ve got a great eye! Those yellow edged leaves are caused by black spot, if you can believe that! I ended up having to remove about five of her big leaves…😩! However, she is now making a great comeback with nine new baby leaves… 🥳🤩🎉! By the way, TXS for your informative post.
1 me gustaYou are welcome. Black spot would be root rot or fungal?
1 me gustaFUNGAL… Nasty, nasty, nasty! I’ve been fighting black spot for several months now, and it’s driving me nuts; that’s not saying anything about my plants. They’re not happy either, as evidenced by my beloved Amazonian, as I call her! However, she is on the mend, and is going to be beautiful once again, with all of her nine new leaves that are coming up…🤩!
1 me gustaHow do you fight it, Lynda. I think mine is suffering from it too then! 😔
0 Me gustaI’ve tried several home remedies. A commercial fungicide works best for me plus letting the soil drown down more. Keeping a small fan helps with air circulation that helps dry out the soil and plant.
