Just noticed on of the older leaves on my monstera is turning a lighter green. I haven’t noticed any yellow yet. It has been in a sunny southwest window. Anyone know what it might be?

older leaves will die off first so it might just be something like that, as long as you’re watering properly.

overwatering or a root issue are the most common causes of yellowing leaves besides low light, which probably isn’t an issue if it’s in a southwest window. i would check your watering habits to make sure it hasn’t been overwatered, monstera prefer their soil to dry out at least halfway before watering again. like tigerlilly said though, it may be just an old leaf dying off
