This is my 8in croton in a 8.13in pot. I think it’s too snug. Pot size suggestions?

    You could either trim its roots or repot, I would first check to see if it’s even pot bound just yet. ( I am not super familiar with this plant, some like to be root bound. ) good luck 🍀

      They have lots of roots and grow very large pot may be to small

    Wow your croton is gorgeous!! When I repot I usually do a pot that is 1/3 larger than the base of the roots of the plant. So if the root ball is 6in your pot should be 8in. If your roots have fully expanded in your 8in pot and there’s very little soil left… you’d want to go to a 10.5-11in pot 🥰 My croton started as a propagation and shes trying so hard to grow, it’s been slow progress over here lol.

      Thank you. I just repotted her to a 10in. Her root ball is 8in

      I love seeing the new growth, I recently tried to tie it to a stake for support and that’s when it started sprouting more leaves!
