   What is the one on the right because I rescued one like that from someone’s free pile on FB and I have no experience with Hoyas!

     The one in the terracotta pot is a Krimson Princess and the one in the green pot is Pubicalyx :)

     I noticed mine has developed some of those darker leaves (nearing like a black-purple) and yours has some that seem darker too. Is that normal? An indication of too much light?

     It’s totally normal! Those are the newest leaves on my plant, I have awkward growth points 🥲 All new leaves come in super dark purpley/black. Then as they grow and harden, they start turning green. The purpley leaves feel almost rubbery, and they’re super bendy. While the green ones are really firm. When I first got this plant it had an interesting, hook shaped leaf and I was so confused 😆 but as the plant has exploded with growth I realized it must’ve hardened while it was bent up!
